Rehoboth Beach Wedding Florist: Michael & Megan at Rehoboth Beach Country Club

With all of this bitter cold weather, I thought it would be nice to share Michael and Megan’s wedding from last May.  If I close my eyes, I can feel the sunshine and salty sea breeze.  Their wedding had a romantic, beachy feel with a touch of Hawaii.  The couple wanted to incorporate a little touch of Hawaii since Michael was stationed there in the Army.

Their wedding was at the gorgeous Rehoboth Beach Country Club in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.  Megan looked ravishing as she walked down an aisle lined with rose petals and fresh Hawaiian leis.  They were married under a pergola draped in shimmering champagne organza overlooking the bay.

The ballroom was filled with their family and friends.  The centerpieces were lush and romantic with roses, gerbera daisies, and seeded eucalyptis accented with white sea shells.  Candlelight and more leis decorated the outside patio.

Congratulations Michael and Megan!  It was truly a magical day.  Thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day!

Delaware Special Events Florist: Kristin’s Bridal Shower at Soffritto Italian Grill

Kristin’s bridal shower was like a little touch of springtime in the middle of winter. Coral and peach colors with a rustic touch brought a warmness to this cold weather that we have been having lately in Delaware.  The gorgeous Amsterdam roses are from the Cut Flower Exchange.  The incredible cake with the rosette details was by Jessica at All About You Custom Cakes.  I know from previous experience that her cakes are delicious!

Broadkill Beach Wedding Florist: Laurie & Josh on the Beach

I can still feel the ocean breeze on my face from this wedding at Broadkill Beach.  Laurie and Josh wanted a small, intimate wedding on the beach.  I love that they rented a house on the beach  and had it there.

The bouquets were sweet and romantic with coral, peach, and white roses, hypericum berries, and dusty miller.  The fabric draped over the bamboo archway flowed in the ocean breeze.

Brownlee of Honeycutt Photography did double duty at the wedding.  She was a bridesmaid and the photographer.  Not to mention, sister of the groom!  I think that she did an awesome job!  I hope you all enjoy the love and happiness that she captured.  I also included some of the pictures that I took of the flowers.

Congratulations Laurie and Josh!  Thank you for allowing me to be part of your special day!

Wilmington Wedding Florist: Shauna & Jermaine at DoubleTree Hotel

This is the wedding that started it all.  I cannot believe that it has been eight years!  I was so happy that Shauna and Jermaine wanted me to be part of their special day.  This is the wedding that made me think that I could really pursue a career as a floral designer.  If not for them giving me a chance, I would not have begun my journey.  I just want to thank them for giving me my start!

So on to the wedding details… First, let me note that Shauna has an unhealthy obsession with pink!  🙂  Just kidding.  Of course, pink was the main color of the day, but I loved how she offset it with the oranges.  She wanted a mixture of roses in a hand-tied bouquet.  Simple and classic with a bright touch!  The wedding took place in downtown Wilmington at the DoubleTree Hotel.
